about

Originally released on Jesse Northey's Mix Tape Club for the theme of "Landmarks".

The number 135797531 is a palindrome, and legend has it that it's the exact moment that King Charles placed the first brick in the foundation of the Charles Bridge in Prague (1357, July 9th 5:31am). Apparently he did wanted to do this so that it would give the bridge extra strength, which I suppose worked since it's been there for so long.

I used these numbers to structure the song in the key of C. The pattern to informed both the chords as well as the arpeggiating synth. Enjoy my palindrome composition!
